The Environmental Health & Safety Intern will focus on assisting in all aspects of Andis's environmental, health and safety program.

Reviewing, updating various EHS programs, policies, and training materials.
• Assisting with accident investigations to determine root causes and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Conduct chemical inventory and secondary container labeling in accordance with GHS.
• Update LOTO procedures for specific machinery requirements.
• Assist in developing job hazard analysis for Andis sites.
• Provide support related to departmental or company-wide training.
• Complete assigned EHS tasks/projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Actively participates as a member of the Executive Safety Committee.

• Candidates should be actively pursuing a career in Safety or Environmental Health related field of study.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ideal candidates excel in team environments, are service oriented, and have a willingness to learn and take direction from others.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Positive and upbeat attitude.
• Ability to display strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from others.
• Have transportation to get you to and from the facility.
