A Health Administration Intern will be responsible for supporting AIM Specialty Health, which is part of the Carelon structure at Elevance Health, while working with a cross-functional team focused on solving complex business and technical challenges facing the organization.

How you will make an impact:
- Identifying opportunities to address key challenges impacting our business and improve ongoing operations
- Developing a good understanding of relevant business processes, goals, and strategies to provide targeted recommendations supported by data analysis
- Creating written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings, support fact-based recommendations, and substantiate conclusions
- Presenting project findings to multiple internal audiences and incorporate feedback to enhance analysis, recommendations, and deliverables
- Assessing the end-to-end project delivery process and available data to identify gaps or inefficiencies, present recommendations and quantify the impact of proposed changes
- Actively pursuing a master's degree in Health Services Administration, Data Analytics, Public Health, or other related degrees at an accredited college or university during internship
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the Summer 2023 internship from AIM's Chicago office or remotely
- Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
- Utilization of effective communication skills when working with other team members in a professional setting (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills)
- Intermediate/Advanced skills with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working for a healthcare payer organization or other healthcare industry areas
