Lori Runge has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin. She is the current Program Director at Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center in Milwaukee, WI. Her runaway and homeless youth experience, however, started in 1993 when she became a Bachelor’s level field placement student at Pathfinders, a youth shelter also located in Milwaukee. Lori’s previous positions at Walker’s Point include front-line staff, therapist, case manager, and program manager. Her most recent position prior to returning to Walker’s Point was as a Youth & Family Therapist at Meta House, working primarily with children and adolescents of substance abusing mothers.
Walker's Point Youth & Family Center is a private, non-profit corporation which has been providing help to Milwaukee area youth and families since 1976. They offer shelter, counseling, educational and other services to help young people resolve their problems and strengthen family relationships.
