Job Description

The XynQAPI Clinical Analyst's primary responsibilities will include working with existing, new, and potential customers to ensure service excellence, efficiency, and usability of the XynQAPI software. The position will facilitate quality improvement teaching and learning opportunities to clients, and internal staff, while staying current with regulatory standards, SRTR methodology and data services to ensure that the software represents clinical and quality trends. Additionally, the position will serve as a clinical liaison between the company, its affiliate business partners, UNOS/UNet, SRTR, and customer sites. Secondary responsibilities will include the support of the clinical analyst and sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with clients to define configuration and review recommendations
  • Provide discovery/analysis and Best Practice consulting services
  • Creation of discovery/analysis documentation for the capture of needed site configuration changes
  • Assisting both internal and external clients in defining system needs as well as discovering and evaluating for possible solutions
  • Assist in the creation of clear and concise documentation required for training to include client user manuals, reference manuals, trainer presentation manuals, teaching tools, and internal documents
  • Responsible for the execution of test scripts for product testing of the software and escalating patient safety issues to the manager
  • Testing of client or internally reported issues to verify appropriate resolution
  • Stays current with technology and clinical knowledge through seminars, educational opportunities, and professional conferences
  • Assess quality improvement work at customer sites throughout the system development lifecycle, and make recommendations to maximize the end-user's interaction with the database
  • Conduct routine orientation programs with internal CTM staff to advance quality improvement knowledge
  • Coordinate routine site visits with customers to enhance customer relations, identify current, and future database needs, and promote best practice standards
  • Serve as liaison between the company, UNOS/UNet, SRTR and customer sites, by facilitating end-user group(s)
  • Stay current with all regulatory changes (UNOS & CMS) and guide software modifications to ensure that the product line perpetually supports current standards
  • Participate in product enhancements, or new development, by contributing expert knowledge of solid organ transplant care, quality improvement work, and the data science of transplantation
  • Performs other related duties as required

Skills:

  • It is preferred that the candidate possess experience with regulations/ standards within UNOS CMS organizations as well as familiarity with SRTR methodology
  • It is preferred that the candidate possesses knowledge and/or experience in transplant or healthcare quality work
  • High energy, Positive attitude, self-motivated, goal-oriented, team player
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills including effective presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to details
  • Ability to learn and understand our product development and test practices, processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Travel - 10-25% or lesswith overnight stays

Qualifications:

  • Experience in transplant or healthcare quality
  • Knowledge of solid organ transplant is strongly preferred
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment is required
  • Basic computer knowledge skills are required and knowledge of software testing recommended
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work from a listing of high-level objectives to complete the assigned project goals
