The Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow in experimental high-energy physics. We seek candidates with expertise in the experimental preparation of 2D materials and devices, as well as experimental optical spectroscopy experience of 2D heterostructures.
The successful candidate will be expected to be highly motivated and enthusiastic about the fundamental understanding of light-matter interactions in 2D. The candidate is also expected to be able to independently carry out experiments and perform data analysis. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work with graduate and undergraduate students and collaborate with others in the field.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in experimental Condensed Matter Physics or related Engineering fields.
Applications, including a curriculum vitae, publication list, and statement of research interests should be submitted through this Interfolio site.
Review of applications will begin on July 27th and continue until the position is filled.
