$21.00 per hour. This is a grant-funded position contingent on future funding. No fringe benefits.

The purpose for this teaching position is to provide adult education and career pathways instruction to adult learners at the Northeast Community College Extended Campus in West Point. This position is responsible for pre-and post-assessments, student intake, maintaining and tracking student hours, and adhering to Federal and State Adult Education regulations. Adult Basic Skills and GED preparation classes and an English as a Second Language Class; daytime and evening hours available for shifts.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Adult teaching experience preferred.

Requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of computers and ability to learn and operate computer based learning programs. Must be dedicated to student success and possess the ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners.
