Molex is in search of a motivated Controls Engineering Manager to become a part of our Lincoln Automation Team. This position involves collaborating with a forward-thinking, globally connected team based at Molex's manufacturing site in Lincoln, Nebraska. As the Controls Engineering Manager, you will focus on crafting and estimating cutting-edge assembly procedures within our transportation solutions sector. We are seeking an individual who is eager to progress professionally and possesses strong self-initiative.


Our Team

Molex's TIS (Transportation and Industrial Solutions) business unit is a segment within Molex that specializes in providing connectivity solutions and technologies tailored for the transportation and industrial sectors. This unit focuses on developing and delivering a wide array of products and solutions that cater to the specific needs of these industries. These solutions often involve connectors, cables, components, and integrated systems that address connectivity, data transmission, and control system requirements in transportation (such as automotive and commercial vehicles) and various industrial applications.


What You Will Do

Lead automation professional to design and develop automation

  • Develop systems to track group KPIs (budgets and delivery)
  • Develop and coach employees
  • Develop standard operating procedures for controls group

Innovate processes

  • Research, develop and deploy new technologies that set us apart
  • Collaborate with our global automation and manufacturing teams


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience managing a team
  • Availability for 10-20% Travel Domestically and Internationally
  • Associate of Applied Science in Electronics or Related Field

What Will Put You Ahead

  • B.S. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years or more industrial work experience in PLC, HMI, and servo controls programming.
