This is a Temporary Position that will run from May 29, 2024 to July 26, 2024.
The working days for this position will be Monday-Friday and some weekends.
Pay is $82 per day or $15-20/hr offsite

SUMMARY: The Head Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining strict safety rules and procedures at the pool and waterfront, while at the same time creating an atmosphere of fun for the swimmers and boaters. Properly maintain the pool and waterfront areas.
Specific Duties-Lifeguard:
- Set up buddy system for swimmers
- Plan fair and effective system of consequences for rules broken.
- Create interesting presentation of rules & safety procedures
- Conduct swim tests, help supervise pool or waterfront activities as per schedule.
- Help with daily cleaning and maintenance of all aquatic areas - pool, changing rooms, equipment rooms, Waterfront dock and equipment
- Participate in all staff meetings, evening programs and devotions. Assist with program components as needed.
Specific Duties- Janitorial/Housekeeping
- General maintenance and cleaning of the guest cottages, chapel, offices, hallways and bathrooms.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the Lifeguards
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. They will assist in creating a Christian atmosphere and support the infusion of Christian Outreach through the programming. Preferred 6 months related experience in a personal relationship with Christ and working with youth. This individual must be of good character, mature and able to uphold the Christian standards and ministries of The Salvation Army in all areas of job responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: No Education or Experience needed. Will provide on the job training.
