Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Contract Analyst continually develops results-driven initiatives that define our success and help transform Bryan Health. Responsible for meeting corporate and regional goals and initiatives by seeking out opportunities to collaborate with and support strategic alliance hospitals. Will execute goals to eliminate waste, cut costs, and improve the quality of our services.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

*Serves as a resource to all disciplines, system wide committees and owned entitities to promote standardization and cost reduction strategies.

*Maximizes utilization of Vizient and Mid-America Services Solutions contracts for Bryan Health. Ensures contract pricing with Vizient and MSS is at appropriate tier(s) based on volume.

*Responsible for the evaluation, negotiation, execution, implementation, renewal and on-going management of Supply Chain contracts, service agreements, request for proposal development & execution, and purchased services to the benefit of Bryan Health.

*Utilizes existing benchmarking tools to ensure contracts are at the best total cost and identifies cost improvement opportunities throughout Bryan Health. Creates and evaluates contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with organizational needs and standards.

*Acts as Supply Chain contact for vendors regarding contracts, requests for proposals, purchased services, and service agreements.

*Ensures that contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide necessary documentation, contract visibility, awareness and system utilization/ maintenance to guarantee accurate implementation.

*Provides contracting services in collaboration with internal departments. Assists with contract, compliance and tracking needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, supply chain or a closely related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years of previous job-related experience required. Proficiency in process analysis, planning and implementation, forecasting, and monitoring of supplier performance required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
