Karsun Solutions is looking for a Solutions Architect to support a rapidly growing Federal Program with enterprise modernization/transformation as the key focus. You will have a strong grasp for the big picture! This will be anchored with the ability to understand customer's business drivers, objectives, and goals while being familiar with the overall ecosystem required inclusive of people, process, and technical approaches to meet the customers' requirements. You will understand the diversity in the platforms/tech stack and the presence of multiple competing priorities that has complicated the process of platform/low code application platform (LCAPS)/tech stack selection for the federal agencies. You will work with senior leaders and practice area leads in the program and Karsun corporate to drive consensus on the overall solution/proof of concept while bringing forward the solution story in a compelling way that is compete in meeting the customers objectives and requirements.

• Finding the right alignment between a federal agencies' technology needs and its solution platforms to make the difference between business success and failure
• Analyze customer goals, objectives, and requirements (technical and business) to support the development and facilitation of anchor and key architectures, technology alternatives, proof of concept (POC) development
• Drive the process to reach consensus and agreement on the anchor concepts and high-level solution with peers, customers and partners
• Develop whitepapers, POCs, presentations and demonstrations
• Apply a reason-based, requirements-driven approach in the selection of platforms/technical considerations that best serve the key architectural goals established in the agency
• Work with other SMEs to incorporate Karsun core capability intellectual property into tailored solutions
• Collaborate with different technology product vendors to establish partnerships, driving use cases and proof of value (POV) prototypes on emerging technologies
• Adding sophisticated data solutions to include machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI/ML) into operations
• Work with senior SMEs and technical teams on the program to develop compelling use cases for modern software development, winning propositions, which achieve the customer objectives, goals, and requirements while providing superior value
• Work with program technical teams to guide architecture proposals that articulate the holistic solution in a consistent way across technical and management audiences

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 10+ years of related experience including:
  • 10+ years of experience serving in the Federal/Commercial domain in a combination of delivery, implementation, project management, and architecture development capacity
  • 5+ years of developing proof of values in various technical stacks including COTs products and LCAPS such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Pegasystems, and Appian
  • 3+ years in conducting qualitative and quantitative alternative analysis across multiple solutions and presenting the summary to executive audiences
• Strong proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing information to formulate a big picture understanding and support developing clear end-to-end solutions to address requirements/problems
• Delivery experience with Agile, DevSecOps, Service Delivery, Operations, Cloud, Data, and Emerging Technology directions
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive consensus and collaboration across both business and technical domains
• Experience supporting US federal programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to be a storyteller and presenter
• Ability to obtain and maintan a Public Trust clearance

Desired:

• Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field 8+ years of system implementation experience
  Experience in the Fed/Civilian sector
• Technical or Professional Certification in domain (e.g., PMP, Agile, Service Delivery, Cloud))
• Highly prefer candidates in the DC Metro area

In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $133,000 to $170,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
