This position is in Salary Grade PM4, with a minimum starting salary of $49,770 per annum. The successful candidate's salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College's excellent full-time fringe benefits package.

This is a 10-month position.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the health and well-being of all intercollegiate athletes and direct the athletes' rehabilitation program. The athletic trainer will provide athletic training coverage at all home athletic events and practices, including evening and weekends. The athletic trainer will also have scheduled hours in the training room, coordinate appointments with physicians for athletic-related injuries, maintain documentation of injuries, and direct treatment of athletic injuries. The athletic trainer will demonstrate strong character and leadership as a member of the athletic department staff. Further, this position also requires thoughtful interaction among student-athletes and staff of the College by following and upholding the policies and mission of the College and athletic department.

Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited institution, valid Nebraska license and a valid Athletic Trainer Certification issued by the Board of Certification of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Master's degree preferred.

More than one year up to and including three years of athletic training experience.
