We're actively seeking a talented Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Engineer who will be responsible for the delivery of the Customer authentication platform and services required to support the various business line applications and consumers. In this role you will develop and implement the CIAM strategy and corresponding roadmaps considering the corporate strategy, industry security trends and regulatory requirements. You will also collaborate and coordinate with other IT leaders, technologists and support staffs to ensure the requirements are clearly defined and established timelines are met. Finally, you will work to improve and track the maturity of the CIAM products and services showing increased adoption, speed to market, and resiliency.

How you will make an impact:

  • Serve as a CIAM engineer for the IAM department enabling the platform strategy and associated roadmap based on industry standards, evolving technology, and business requirements
  • Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot CIAM solutions with the ability to provide technical and architectural design documentation, recommendations, specifications, use cases, requirements and test cases
  • Provide required knowledge and expertise to assist with the technical approach for the shared operational capabilities of CIAM, including user registration, self-service, authentication, authorization, administration, audit, and reporting
  • Drive the adoption and migration to the enterprise CIAM capabilities
  • Establish reusable standardized integration patterns to accelerate delivery of services
  • Define best practice and development of troubleshooting processes, methodologies, standards, alerts and reporting from CIAM platform(s) to be leveraged for operational monitoring
  • Provide monitoring and support of the integrated business applications ensuring the required uptime and resiliency
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and advancements associated with identity offers, digital authentication, and omni-channel solutions



The experience you will bring:

  • 8+ years Information Security experience, with strong focus in Customer Identity and Access Management
  • Extensive experience with Identity and Access Management concepts such as authentication, authorization, application security, privacy and consent management, regulatory compliance, multi-factor authentication, federation, and risk management
  • Deep knowledge of IAM standards, restful API design, tokens, session management and profiles
  • Strong understanding of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Open Authorization (OAuth), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Token (JWT)
  • Proven 'hands-on' success with designing and developing IAM architecture frameworks using Customer Identity and Access Management platforms such as Auth0, Okta, Ping Identity or similar
  • Experience with Cloud-based technologies and environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with code repository management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.
  • Experience with designing and developing J2EE/Java applications, web services, and databases
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and corresponding Agile based tools
  • Proven ability to influence and gain trust at senior management levels in multi-cultural environments
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement
  • Clear understanding of CoBIT and ITIL Frameworks

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or other relevant security certifications and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards preferred

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$159,660.00 - $195,140.00
