Overview

TierPoint is seeking an entry-level Operations Specialist to join our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience providing customer service and basic computer skills. You must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction while escalating urgent issues appropriately to senior staff. An understanding of your role as it relates to the functioning of day-to-day operations will also be critical. This is a great opportunity for someone currently studying or looking to learn about technology and wanting to get into the IT industry. We offer on-line training modules and certification reimbursement for various IT courses.

Responsibilities
    Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
  • Assist with assigned projects tasks to support Sales, Marketing, Customers, Operations, Security and Compliance.
  • Perform facility rounds to check for any audible or visual alarms, equipment or facility abnormalities, and general operational support.
  • Assist with physical access management to the facility including badge creation and temporary allocation for new employees, pre-approved customer contacts and contractors
  • Respond and/or escalate alarms, issues or requests via ticketing system
  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Other duties assigned

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience particularly in the data center industry in retail or service industry a plus
