Schedule: 6pm - 6am, continental shift rotation
Pay: $19/hr.

Forklift Operator essential tasks:

  • Be responsible for receiving, shipping, material handling, and order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a multi-shift, multi-site warehouse operation.
  • Safely operate all powered industrial trucks (PITs) in accordance with company rules and regulations.
  • Handle raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods with precision and efficiency using forklifts, reach trucks, and double reach trucks.
  • Load and unload trucks in a timely and organized manner.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on PITs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production and shipping goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift certification and minimum of 6 to 12 months of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
