Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour.

GD-OTS is looking for an Intern - Design Engineer - 1st Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. This is a year-round internship (work during the school year and through summer).

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including; rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Supporting the Design engineering group in all aspects of product development. This would include:
• Light CAD work (ProE/Creo experience a plus), finite element analysis (ANSYS experience, a plus), extensive use of Excel for data reduction and use of Word to author or co-author a variety of documentations, including; design reports, test plans, and test reports, etc.

Completed a minimum of 2 years in an Engineering discipline, working towards a BS.

This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
