The Director, HR Business Partner provides/develops strategy and direction on a broad range of strategic HR services to support our Product Strategy and Supplier Partnerships (PSSP) and our Strategy, Marketing, Communications and eCommerce team. The HRBP will work closely with multiple senior leaders to assess, anticipate, facilitate and inspire organizational and people related strategies. The HRBP needs to be a trusted advisor and true thought partner for the ELT member and leadership teams they support.

The individual must operate as a strong collaborator and consultant, leveraging relationship skills and business expertise, and provide solutions and recommendations to align, enable, and accelerate both short and long-term business/change objectives.

  • Responsible for partnering with senior leaders to drive forward the people agenda.

  • Ensures integration of strategy and solutions in partnership with the CoEs and Shared Services.

  • Provides/delivers innovative and integrated HR practices around critical business issues.

  • Coaches across senior leadership to enhance leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal communications and performance management.

  • Facilitates future-focused discussions on talent and culture of the organization.

  • Supports and helps lead the organization through a time of transformation and change during a times of ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty.

  • Act as a problem-solving partner to the business.

  • Develops organization capacity for change and execution for the business.

  • Brings data, analytics, benchmark and industry knowledge to business discussion recommendations.

  • Leads and delivers projects for client group as well as horizontal projects across the broader MMS business.

Typical Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 10 years of HR experience in a large, high execution organization

  • Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixedorganization

  • Experience supporting leaders, teams and employees across a distributed network and multiple segments.

  • Proven track record of delivering results

  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to build strong and trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments

  • Demonstrated strategic, critical, analytical and innovative thinking skills

  • Strong change and talent management experience

  • Proven ability to create a positive culture, with high morale and strong performance

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Comfort with data and analytics

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$120,000 - $200,000
