Oregon Youth Authority has an opportunity as a Youth Facility Manager 1 at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. As a Youth Facility Manager 1 you will direct and manage the day-to-day operations and rehabilitation treatment program services of adjudicated youth at OYA and youth from the Department of Corrections in a 24/7 close custody facility. This includes supervision of staff, logistics and coordinating the direct treatment of youth by developing and maintaining the treatment program identified for each living unit. Treatment programs are designed to provide public safety, accountability, and reformation services for the youth in our care.

Additional Information:

  • This position is part of the state's management team.
  • Expected starting salary for new-to-state employees is $75,084 - $86,928 monthly; based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity (should you have significant years of experience performing this work, starting salary may be higher).
  • Full salary range for the position is $75,084 - $124,200.
  • This position receives annual increases on anniversary date until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
  • , employees will receive a 6.95% increase to their base salary and will pay .

What We Are Looking For:

  • Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR
  • Two years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Special Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Masters level education in clinical psychology or related field.
  • Licensed to practice in the Mental Health field in the State of Oregon.
