The Schlegel Center for Service and Justice (SCSJ) at Creighton University "awakens hearts and lives of solidarity to build a more just world."
This position will manage SCSJ's Local Community Engagement offerings. This includes recruitment and formation of volunteers, logistical support, evaluation and reporting, student leader supervision, and university policy compliance. This position also ensures that we meet community engagement best practices.

Qualifications:
Education
* Bachelor's degree required. Related fields may include Ministry, Social Work, Social Justice, Sociology, Public Policy or Community Development
Work Experience
* 3-5 years of related work
* Experience supervising students and/or teams
* Working collaboratively across a variety of cultures and in a multi-faith environment
* Logistics and detail-oriented work
* Collaboration with community partners/non-profits
* Experience with training and formation of students for community engagement
* Ignatian formation preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication
* Knowledge about and desire to continue to learn about social justice issues (including migration, housing and food insecurity, education, and climate change)
* Commitment to social justice and environmental sustainability
* Knowledge of or openness to learning Catholic Social Teaching and Ignatian Spirituality
* Knowledge of and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
* Knowledge of and commitment to asset-based, mutually beneficial community engagement
* High attention to detail, facility with technology, MSOffice, database usage etc.
* Ability to communicate with local partners, including Spanish or other languages preferred.
