General Description | Northeast Community College, a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a talented individual to fill a key technical position within our Network and Infrastructure department. This position is located in Norfolk, NE-60% of time onsite required; minimal remote opportunity possible. The successful candidate will support a variety of services including the following:
This position reports to the Senior Director of Network & Infrastructure. We are looking for an individual who can apply their technical expertise and knowledge of best security practices and methodologies to design, implement and support a variety of infrastructure / Infrastructure applications & hosted solutions to meet customer needs. The individual selected for this position must also work effectively in an enterprise team environment to ensure student success. Alternative work hours may be required occasionally. Remote access and mobile communications devices are required for this position. |
Qualifications: Education | Associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred; relevant work experience may be substituted. |
Qualification:Experience | Minimum of 2 years Systems Administration experience preferred Demonstrated working experience with the following is preferred: * Hyperconverged infrastructure and virtualization * Enterprise Backup and Storage * Windows server and desktop operating systems / roles * Azure / Cloud infrastructure * Office 365 Administration * Identity management * Endpoint Management * Security systems including EDR, SEIM, & Windows Firewall |
