Job Description

This is a third-shift position in the Rigid Department in our Alliance, NE facility.

1. Set up and run machine;
2. Extract mandrel from hose by using pressurized water to reuse mandrel in the process;
3. Operator will Pressure check hose to specification requirements;
4. Identify and eliminate known defects;
5. Retest hose when test fails;
6. Set-up and operate prepping machine on specific hoses;
7. Prepare and complete necessary paperwork.

Education required/ preferred:
High School diploma or GED

Experience:
Production work preferred but not required

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
1. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
2. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
3. Sound decision making skills
4. Good math, reading, writing skills
5. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
6. Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product
7. Strong trouble shooting skills

Skills/Competencies:
1. Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office package
2. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Other Skills:
Ability to work well in a team environment
