Job Description
Director, Advanced Analytics, Mindshare USA LLC, New York, NY. Manage and nurture a team of Analysts and Data Scientists efficiently, promoting a positive culture that yields team satisfaction, engagement, and high performance. Perform and direct data processing, data cleansing and handling of raw data to produce large, structured data sets for analysis, data modeling, and data governance. Conduct/direct econometric and other statistical analyses; run and direct ad-hoc “what if scenarios” and simulations based on models and evaluate media plans. Drive R&D initiatives by designing algorithms, developing features, QA or providing training and support to power users. Bring critical thinking into finding issues, solving problems, and improving processes.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $163,238/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, and two (2) years of related work experience in data science and media. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, plus five (5) years of related work experience in data science and media.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
· Multivariate regressions;
· SQL and Excel (Pivot Tables and Complex Functions);
· R, Python, C++, SPP, or SAS; and
· Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.
Must have one (1) year of experience with/in:
· Using Agent Based Modeling (ABM), ABM tools, or related modeling technique experience.
