Job Description
The Property Management HR team is a looking for a dynamic partner to join the Midwest Property Management team. You will partner with the respective Business Leaders to ensure alignment and impactful execution of the People strategy with the business strategy throughout the Midwest Region. Our People Experience Partner (PXP) is an experienced HR professional who will use their Business acumen, HR expertise & local knowledge to enable Business & HR priorities. PXPs will work closely with business leadership and our Talent Centers of Excellence to enhance the employee experience and help our talent to do their best work.

This hybrid role sits on site in our Chicago office at least 3 days each week.

Functional Knowledge
Partner with Business leaders to influence, develop and integrate targeted people strategies based on situational analysis, to drive business objectives / goals and foster solid working relationships. Operate as an objective and trusted advisor; provide appropriate coaching to elevate the leadership team collectively and individually

Proactively anticipate opportunities or issues and develop innovative solutions to address the opportunities at the root cause with intention to arrive at sustainable solutions

You will communicate a clear, accurate understanding of HR analytics, providing insights and strategic direction on how to use them to grow the business, deliver results and drive continuous HR improvement. Your expertise will provide commercially sound solutions to support business objectives.

Act as local delivery experts of JLL's HR strategy, ensuring that local policies and practices are in line with the HR strategy

Enable an exceptional employee experience during moments that matter throughout the employee lifecycle e.g., onboarding, performance review, promotion, etc.

Contribute towards a culture of inclusion which celebrates our employee diversity and promotes employee belonging

Lead or participate in just-in-time projects impacting business results

Manage various degrees of employee relations situations and performance management in partnership with JLL's Employee Relations team

Provide consultation to business stakeholders through coaching, training, and advisory support

Support assigned employee group in transition, expansion, and stabilization of new business with great consideration given to employee experience

Cultivate strong meaningful relationships with both local employees and People Partners to build trust as their primary touchpoint "on the ground"

Execute on HR tasks by driving efficiencies in the employee life cycle - using touchpoints and hand offs to other People Solutions and Experience stakeholders


Qualifications and Experience:
Human Resources experience of 7+ years

Experience with Employee Relations (investigations, claims, performance management, etc.)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (e.g.,BS in human resources, business administration or vocational apprenticeship in a related discipline)

Experienceworking in a remote,matrixed, and geographically distributed organization.

Skilled team player who can communicate their thoughts clearly and effectively

Strong team management skills with the ability to effectively manage priorities

Ability to cultivate robust and meaningful relationships to serve as a trusted HR expert to employees and managers
