DaVita has an open position for a Registered Dietitian who will be a vital member of each patient's core care team. You will analyze lab-work results and educate patients-and their families-on what to eat accordingly. Your ability to influence and lead will be critical to helping them live better lives. DaVita is looking for a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help educate our patients and their families in the Indianapolis, IN area!
What you can expect:
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Analyze lab-work results to educate patients and their families on what to eat based on their individualized needs and care
- Evaluate comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments consistent with CMS regulations.
- Assess on-going nutritional status to determine appropriate nutrition interventions and recommendations.
- Performance-based rewards based on stellar individual and team contributions.
- After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
What we look for:
- State licensure as required by the State of Indiana
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
- 12 months of Clinical Dietitian experience - previous renal/dialysis experience not required!
- Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) - no weekends or holidays!
- Full Time Schedule - 32-40 hours per week
- Comfortable traveling within the Greater Indianapolis area when needed
- Proficient computer skills and comfortable working with Microsoft Office Programs
