Job Description:

Test software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Role:
  • You will work closely with engineers from various development teams (e.g., System, Port, L2, L3, etc) to understand the interactions of the system components and develop efficient processes and tools for automatic testing and validation of the system. You will create and execute test plans and test suites to test the entire system from a functional perspective and at scale.
Required Experience:
  • Prior experience in testing and Automation of networking features including L2 forwarding, L3 Forwarding, QoS, ACLs, System features and more.
  • Experience with Automation - preferably in C++ and Python or other scripting languages/tools
  • Hands-on skills to design and build test/validation benches
  • Experience creating automated testing environments
  • Hands-on experience with Network Test Equipment like Spirent, IXIA, etc
  • Understanding the internals of a switch ASICs
  • Experience using CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, git, Gerrit, JIRA
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, ambiguity, and time constraints
  • Consistent record of developing high quality systems with an eye for simplicity
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelors or higher education with and 12+ years of related experience
Extra (would be a plus):
  • Strong project management skills
  • Prior track record of process design and implementations
  • Self-driven, determines own priorities, both tactical and strategic

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $126,000- $210,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
