Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts
  • Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types and take a lead role on fact finding, proposal analysis and risk assessment with guidance from peers
  • Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationship, which include interface with Program Management, Finance and Contracts.
  • Issue modifications, prepare Subcontractor correspondence and issue Stop Work Orders.
  • Be the focal point for subcontractor performance. Includes: RFP generation, deliverables tracking, payment review and adherence to contractual terms; Purchase order placement and file maintenance; Subcontractor performance monitoring and completion assessments.
  • Ability to develop sound business cases, and analyze data.
  • Strong communication skills with a commitment to customer service.
  • Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work in a timely and well organized manner
  • Be proactive in a very fast paced environment. Work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement including proposal price/cost analysis,
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience creating, negotiating and awarding both fixed price and cost type subcontracts
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management
  • Experience soliciting, evaluating and documenting cost and price proposals
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures
  • Ability to attain Security Clearance, as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently hold Secret or Top Secret Clearance
  • Hybrid based in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Reston, Virginia
