Role

The Sr Analyst, Planning - Capabilities Inventory Strategy focuses on stocking policy settings and processes that deliver supply chain business results, identifies and actions inefficiencies, builds relationships with stakeholders, and monitors the movement of products through the supply chain cycle

Primary Responsibilities

  • Central point of accountability for defining inventory policy and maintaining safety stock inputs to optimize the balance between working capital investment, supply chain losses (waste), and service level.

  • Understand SAP and OMP IOP functions and configuration to drive cost, capacity and efficiency improvements throughout logistics

  • Identify, review and scope systematic updates impacting the supply chain

  • Develop and lead training for supply and deployment planning roles

  • End-user communication and support for system changes and issues within product supply

  • Track KPIs and provide guidance to Supply Planning team around inventory policy adherence and various improvement areas

  • Demonstrate analytical rigor and develop data driven insights through the preparation of standardized and ad hoc reports to support the business and planning roles

  • Create, manage, and execute continuous improvement projects to improve stocking policies, close process gaps, and foster cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' experience in Supply Chain

  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)

  • Solid understanding of data querying and data visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Preferred understanding of SAP and OMP
