JOB SUMMARY
The Purification and Specialty Gas Equipment Inside Sales Representative (ISR) responds to existing and prospective customers and sales concerning accepting, shipping and delivery of Matheson Tri-Gas (MTG) products and services and ensures that orders are properly invoiced. Additionally, the ISR is responsible for managing requests for products, price and technical information. The job incumbent selects and utilizes the resources necessary to provide superior customer service and to take advantage of opportunities to increase product sales. This individual works closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Technical Support to ensure that the customer service provided meets the performance expectations of the divisions (businesses/markets).

Essential Functions
Responsible for developing customer relationships ensuring that both new and existing customers have the best possible opinion of MTG at their first interface with the order fulfillment process by providing prompt, professional and friendly service that communicates a sincere customer focus and with a high sense of urgency.
Manage customer objection and concerns to facilitate sales on product or service.
Follow up outstanding invoices and payment to ensure revenue collection.
Assist in the warehouse and in shipping tasks. (issue export documents and required certificates).
Assist internal (All Matheson locations) and external customers with returns.
Assist new customers with online store tax-exemption registration.
Coordinate international sales, including facilitating transactions, accounts receivable and ensuring compliance with international regulations for export shipment.
Coordinate with Sales team to meet targets.
Escalate severe customer issues to management for resolution
Handle inbound and outbound sales for specialty gas equipment (SEQ) and ultra-high purity (UEQ) products.
Manage Changes and Return Requests for Online store orders.
Manage requests for products, price, and technical support.
Negotiate pricing, up selling and cross selling on products and service.
Process credit for online store orders
Provide customer support for our online store and general info box inquiries.
Provide quotes and complete the sales transactions.
Represent the voice of the customer and Outside Specialty Gas Sales Reps in daily production meetings to expedite or confirm order status.
Respond in a timely manner to incoming phone, email, and web inquiries.
Respond to QuoteNinja quote requests with accurate quotes.
Work with Specialty Gas Equipment Outside Sales Reps on large business opportunities.
Provide open order report feedback and Ariba uploads with direction from Operations and/or SAM.
Request and track PO updates for repair units including pricing for standard or routine items.
Progress to quoting more complicated RMA's with assistance from SAM.
Coordinate RMA process other than PO updates and some quoting for equipment for ASML.
Support sales order entry responsibilities for EUV orders, DUV Cymer orders and Nanochem.
Assist SAM and Engineering in building fully cross referenced BOM's (customer, MTG, vendor PN's) for new products.

REQUIRED (Skills essential to job success): Interpersonal savvy, functional and technical skills, organizing, time management, problem solving, customer focus, negotiating and timely decision making.
* Inside sales experience in industrial and B2B settings preferred.
* Ability to grasp basic technical product information.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Organized.
* Strong capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate's Degree Can be substituted with previous industry work experience Required
Bachelor's Degree Can be substituted with previous industry work experience Preferred

1-3 years Customer Service preferably and Prior inside sales experience in industrial in an industrial/technical environment.
