Responsible for creation and ongoing management of customer, vendor and material master data within SAP as governed by internal processes, approvals and SOPs.

What You'll Do

As the Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for creation and ongoing management of customer, vendor and material master data within SAP as governed by internal processes, approvals and SOPs. Other duties will include:

  • Coordinate Master Data entry into SAP, facilitating seamless information flow between functions through the company ERP system.
  • Create and maintain Vendor Master Data in accordance with company policy to ensure a streamlined Procure to Pay process including fraud and dollar loss prevention.
  • Create and maintain Material Master Data in accordance with the company policy.
  • Assist with developing, establishing and sustaining company SAP practices and governance including approval processes, data integrity management and reporting
  • Drive internal and external customer satisfaction through accurate and timely SAP data management.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and be flexible on several projects simultaneously.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum, Associate Degree in Business or IS/IT studies.
  • 5+ years in related industry and business experience with progressively increasing responsibility, logistical functions and/or inventory management, procurement, credit/cash and accounts payable knowledge, activities preferred
  • Experience with logistical aspects of SAP or experience with similar business software applications preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite. High level expertise with Excel and Access preferred.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
